About the Monash Discovery Club

The Monash Discovery Club is a way for kids to discover all about University. “Why do I want to know about University?” you are asking. Well here’s a question I’m sure you have already thought about: What do I want to be when I grow up?

A doctor?
	A teacher?
A penguin?

Well…maybe not the last one, but no matter what you want to do when you leave school, all careers require you to learn the ‘tricks of the trade,’ and many of these ‘tricks’ can be learnt at University. Even your teachers had to go to Uni before they were allowed into your classroom to teach you!
Or perhaps, when you finish school, you will feel you still have some questions that need answers before you can decide on your career.
We never finish learning and there are many things you can do at Uni just for the sake of learning.

With the Monash Discovery Club, you can come to the University and experience a taste of Uni life. You can see what great things you could be doing in just over seven year’s time. On this website the Discovery Club offers you an insight into Uni and gives you information on what to expect when you visit, the types of people at Uni, some student profiles, Webquests, competitions and quizzes. On a whole the Discovery Cub assists you in thinking about your future!
