Cooperative Education Program for International Students

Masters of Applied Information Technology

Eligibility

The Co-op Program is open to any international Bachelor Degree student who is entering first year of the Masters of Applied Information Technology offered at the Monash University Gippsland Campus. Students accepted into the program will be paid $10,000 for participating in the program over both years of their study.

Sample Co-op schedule for MAIT Students

Year One Year Two

Students commence studies

Make a formal oral presentation to incoming Co-op students about your experience
One introductory workplace training session and one advanced training session Twelve continuous weeks of employment during the summer months
15 days in the workplace Participate in election of steering committee reps
Participate in election of steering committee reps Must successfully complete all academic units to remain in Co-op
Must successfully complete all academic units to remain in Co-op Participate in Co-op events and functions as required
  Promote the Co-op program to prospective students

Payment: $3000 paid in fortnightly instalments
