Changes to Latrobe Valley Bus Services

Following the introduction of an expanded local bus timetable in the Latrobe Valley, staff and students travelling between Morwell Station and Monash University Gippsland should ensure they are aware of changes which may affect them.

In particular, please note that the campus shuttle bus service provided by the Department of Transport has been replaced by Latrobe Valley Buslines' Route 2 (Churchill), an hourly service designed to meet incoming trains from Melbourne, and provide a direct link between the station and the campus.

Please note that Route 2 (Churchill) departs from the Morwell bus interchange (Bay 2) in Commercial Road. The short walk between the station and bus interchange is clearly marked, but please ask station staff for assistance if required.

Interim Shuttle Bus Service
To assist students and staff transition to this new timetable, Monash University Gippsland will operate an interim shuttle bus to the campus during February. This will depart at 8am, 8.40am and 9.30am from Morwell Station (not the Bus Interchange) and will wait if trains are delayed. This is a free service for Monash students, staff and campus visitors.
