Information for Information for Arts, Art and Design, Business and Economics, Information Technology and Science students (Domestic Students only)

Introduction

The Co-op Program is available to full-time students who are completing undergraduate degrees in Arts, Art and Design, Business and Economics, Engineering, Information Technology and Science. The format for Engineering students differs. Refer to Information for Engineering students.

Co-op students also receive academic credit for the work experience they undertake. A compulsory academic standard must be maintained for students to continue in the program.

Students are encouraged to attend and participate in various group social activities as well as activities to promote the University, the Campus and the Co-op Program to future students, parents and the wider community.

Sample Co-op schedule

Special Notes

* Applicants need to be aware that by undertaking the 24 week work placement component of the Co-op Program, it may be necessary to extend the time taken to complete your degree.
* Double degree students do not commence the work placement component, nor receive remuneration until the second year of their program.
