“I have been a lecturer at the School of Applied Sciences and Engineering since 2005 and the Coordinator of the Bachelor of Civil and Environmental Engineering course since 2006. I have a PhD in Hydrology and Water Engineering from the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Tokyo, Japan. I also worked there for 10 years as a faculty member before joining the Monash University team. My current teaching responsibilities include conducting undergraduate lectures and supervising undergraduate student projects in Bachelor of Civil and Environmental Engineering Course. The Co-operative Education Program provides engineering students with a wonderful opportunity to gain real-world knowledge from the beginning of the course that are highly useful, not only in engineering coursework and project, but also in future career endeavours.
