Gippsland Access and Participation Project

$1.7 million funding for Monash Gippsland

Monash Gippsland established the Gippsland Access & Participation (GAP) Project after receiving $1.7 million federal funding to increase participation of rural and indigenous students in higher education.

The Project will investigate the educational challenges faced by Gippsland students, their teachers and their families.  It will also investigate issues of low uptake of maths and science subjects by secondary school students and skills shortages as well as set programs that will maximise participation in learning for Indigenous students.
