Gippsland Research Poster Display and Opening

This year the Research Poster Opening combines with the Gippsland Careers Expo 2008 at the Gippsland Campus over a glass of wine and some tasty cheeses. Students and academic staff will have the opportunity to view the poster exhibition as well as meet employers from Latrobe Valley and beyond.

For students this will be an opportunity to showcase their research contribution to the campus community, as well as talk about possible future career options. For academic staff this is an ideal way to meet employers and to explore ways to engage with them.

All Gippsland Postgraduate students are encouraged to submit a poster. Refer to Poster Preparation for help. Students can submit their poster electronic files and Permission Form to Elizabeth.Veno@adm.monash.edu.au by Friday, 15 August.

As in 2006 and 2007 there will be a Celebratory Dinner later in the day.

Speakers

Professor Rod Devenish (Deputy Chairman Research Graduate School Committee) will open the event and present a six participation awards.
