Gippsland Campus
The Gippsland Campus is located in the rural township of Churchill
in the LaTrobe Valley, a picturesque region in the Victoria's South-East
and home of the state's major energy supplies. It is closely situated
to the Victorian snowfields and the coastline, and high-speed road, rail
and communication links to Melbourne make the campus well situated for
those wishing to study science whilst enjoying a more rural lifestyle.
The campus is not as large as Monash's city campuses and as such is able
to offer a more intimate learning environment.
The school's location and academic focus enable it to incorporate distinct
features into it's teaching and research programs that have a strong
research focus and are responsive to the needs of the region.
