Peter Freeman teaches in the areas of human physiology, human biosciences, exercise physiology and sports sciences.

Teaching Commitments

Peter is the unit advisor for the following units:

BIO2742 was developed and delivered by Peter, have been incorporated into the Bachelor of Sport and Outdoor Education program. Peter also contributes into a number of other units.

Research Interests

Peter has previously conducted research in aspects of muscle physiology and in the exercise physiology of athletes, with an emphasis on canoe and kayak paddlers. His current interests are in the area of physiological characteristics contributing to athletic performance, exercise and health in the workplace, and in the teaching and learning of physiology.

Having had interests in environmental issues for many years, Mr Freeman has applied his training in the scientific method to matters involved in catchment management. He is actively involved with the West Gippsland Catchment Management Authority.
