Honours Programs
The School of Applied Sciences and Engineering is a multidisciplinary
school located on the Gippsland campus of Monash. The proximity and diversity
of major industries in the region (food processing, paper production,
water and waste treatment, power generation) provide an opportunity for
students to undertake collaborative, industrially relevant projects.
Students interested in environmental and conservation issues will appreciate
the ability to move between the modern, well-equipped on campus laboratories
and adjacent farmland, natural and plantation forests.
Often honours students working in biotechnology have the opportunity
to spend a considerable part of their candidature in leading resource
laboratories within the state.
