Gippsland Educational Scholarship Fund (GESF) Honours scholarships

The School of Applied Sciences and Engineering will be offering scholarships to students undertaking Honours research in 2009.

Successful applicants will have an excellent academic record, with a distinction average in second and third level units comprising 50% of their degree studies (for Monash students, this will be 72 points). Demonstrated skills or aptitude relevant to the project area may be an advantage. The Honours scholarship has a value of $2,000 p.a. and is open to Australian and international students.

Applications must include the application form, a brief resume, a statement indicating the candidate's suitability for the project selected, academic transcript/s and names of 2 academic referees.

The closing date for applications will be Friday 20 February 2009.
