Maintenance Management and Reliability EngineeringFeesUnlike for most postgraduate programs, Commonwealth supported places (Australian Government support by subsidy, discount or loan) apply for those who are eligible and accepted into one of the four MRE programs (courses). The student contribution amount is A$946 per unit of study (2010), less discount where applicable. Eight units are needed for the Master's degree (direct entry) or Graduate Diploma. There is no application nor registration fee. Full details of eligibility and the extent of student contribution and conditions are given at the Australian Government going to uni (Undergraduate) website.
Students not accepted and enrolled into a Monash program initiallyApplicants without appropriate tertiary qualifications are welcome to enrol into one or two single units on a "not for degree" basis. Completion with 65% average grade of two such units enables admission into a Graduate Certificate program with full credit. The 2009 fee for such study is A$2175 per unit or $A2300 per unit (International students). This opening is not available to people in North America who enrol via the University of Tennessee. Single unit enrolments are welcome, and are often studied by students towards a qualification of another Monash Engineering Department or another university. |
